Inside Sales/Warehouse Supervisor – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

POSITION SUMMARY

Our busy branch in Saskatoon, SK has an immediate opening for Inside Sales/Warehouse Supervisor. The Supervisor is an integral part of the team who will co-operatively work with the Branch Manager, Outside Sales Team, and warehouse personnel to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed sales targets while increasing customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will maintain a strong level of customer service to ensure repeat business. In addition to supervising the warehouse staff and administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the daily duties of warehouse team, deal with competing priorities, ensure the process is followed, and document the process and process changes
  • Address customers at counter in a professional manner while ensuring they are served quickly and courteously
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, upselling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Handle inquiries from other sales-branches and process telephone sales calls professionally, courteously, and as efficiently as possible
  • Ensure accuracy and detail with complete description and quantities specified when processing orders, credits, and warranties
  • Co-ordinate all out of town shipments and special instruction orders with shipping, ensuring back orders are checked and any special instructions are followed
  • Provide support to outside sales team on customer service items and forward sales leads when they are out of office
  • Pick / ship goods to customers efficiently and accurately complete with paperwork where required
  • Check orders daily for any shipping errors
  • Maintain counter sales/pop area and racking in a clean and organized fashion
  • Call customers when back orders are available and accurately recording time and date on the invoice
  • Conduct regular “tool box” meetings in conjunction with Branch Manager
  • Train warehouse personnel and oversee their performance
  • Assist with quotes/pricing of jobs as required
  • Work with purchasing department to ensure products with low inventory have been purchased
  • Answer to salespeople when there is a complaint
  • Participate in yearly inventory count;
  • Attend various meetings and events, and part with organizations that will assist in your personal growth and enhance the image of ECCO Supply;
  • Participate in a minimum of 20 hours of vendor/industry training a year (lunch and learns, vendor training classes, online training, etc);
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of Supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver’s License is a requirement
  • Lift Truck Safety Course Certified (Completion of Class 1, 4, 5) is a requirement
  • Previous working experience in the HVAC Industry or in Inventory Management is an asset
  • Previous or equivalent experience with facilitating sales training is an asset
  • WHMIS and First Aid Training Certificate is an asset
  • Completion of formal education and/or Management training/workshops is an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills; high energy, enthusiastic with proven people skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize is critical
  • Work with a high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity
  • Desire to be a long term employee and contribute to the company’s overall success

POSITION SUMMARY

Our new branch in Red Deer, AB is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join our team as Outside Sales Representative to the HVAC industry; must be self-motivated and possess a desire and aptitude to provide superior service and support to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expand and promote our residential and commercial product lines to existing and new accounts;
  • Establish new potential avenues of sales by promoting our product and equipment to builders, developers, and mechanical contractors in the HVAC industry;
  • With a concentrated effort on residential new construction and replacement markets, acquire, set up, and manage a dealer base for all our residential HVAC product lines;
  • Grow, investigate, and search out new projects via internet, advertisement, building permits, and various associations.

Technical Sales Commercial & Industrial Equipment – Calgary, Alberta

POSITION SUMMARY

Our busy branch in Calgary, AB is seeking for a talented and energetic individual to join our team as Technical Sales in Commercial and Industrial equipment. This position requires a technical understanding of the manufactured equipment and an understanding on how it is applied in overall systems for commercial application.

The Technical Salesperson will be responsible of building relationships with Engineers, Consultants, Designers, Architects, Builders and Contractors through quality, consistent and purposeful visits and virtual meetings whereby they are made aware, have necessary information and become strong net promoters of all ECCO’s product lines. Our goal is that all ECCO products are listed as “Basis of Design” (BOD), “Approved as Equal” or at minimum “Approved as Alternate” on all relevant projects which will result in sales of said product. Success will be measured by sales growth and profitability of ECCO’s commercial plan/spec business

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Estimating costs of equipment and material for construction based on submitted tender requests
  • Organizing jobs and projects in order of importance and sequence
  • Prepare and submit shop drawings
  • Ordering products from manufacturers
  • Co-ordinate material delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date sales database
  • Participate in our annual physical inventory
  • Investigate and research new products to complement our existing product repertoire
  • Assist in the internal operations of the branch as deemed necessary to ensure that customer service is always maintained at the highest possible level
  • Assist in new product training with Engineers and Contractors
  • Attend ASHRAE and various meetings and factory training seminars as required
  • Visit construction sites as required to troubleshoot and problem solve situation that arise

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
  • Technical diploma or university degree is preferred
  • Ability to work, learn and seek out resources independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Above all else, a great attitude
