ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our Sales & Distribution Division is looking for an enthusiastic leader able to join the senior management team’s efforts in maintaining and expanding relationships with large, multi-location customers by ensuring continued loyalty amongst existing wholesale distributors while developing National Account business for ECCO to maximum market share across Canada!

  • Monitor accounts receivable, credit transactions, and discrepancies in transactions, billing, inventory, quotations, etc.
  • Prepare sales and expense budgets for your territories, review individual staffing expense budgets, and ensure anomalies within the budget are examined and dealt with
  • Participate in inventory count, report slow-moving inventory, and create promotional campaigns accordingly
  • Oversee continued development and execution of accurate and reflective market pricing, product training programs and presentations, and marketing projects
  • Assess the marketplace and submit recommendations based on researched analysis of projected sales forecasts, feedback from customer surveys, and any other information to recommend prioritizing current projects and on introducing new or improved products
  • Planning and managing workforce across ECCO’s Supply Branches through recruitment, performance management, termination, and succession planning
  • Working co-operatively with all support teams including Credit, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Sales

  • Leading, scheduling and planning for regular operations meetings and sales meetings with your management and sales personnel to review current operating effectiveness and efficiency, market conditions, pricing, competitor activity, customer service issues, analysis of sales trends, and marketing initiatives
  • Assessing the marketplace and putting forward ideas to purchase or create new or improved products that could be distributed by ECCO Supply

Inside Sales/Warehouse Supervisor – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

POSITION SUMMARY

Our busy branch in Saskatoon, SK has an immediate opening for Inside Sales/Warehouse Supervisor. The Supervisor is an integral part of the team who will co-operatively work with the Branch Manager, Outside Sales Team, and warehouse personnel to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed sales targets while increasing customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will maintain a strong level of customer service to ensure repeat business. In addition to supervising the warehouse staff and administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the daily duties of warehouse team, deal with competing priorities, ensure the process is followed, and document the process and process changes
  • Address customers at counter in a professional manner while ensuring they are served quickly and courteously
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, upselling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Handle inquiries from other sales-branches and process telephone sales calls professionally, courteously, and as efficiently as possible
  • Ensure accuracy and detail with complete description and quantities specified when processing orders, credits, and warranties
  • Co-ordinate all out of town shipments and special instruction orders with shipping, ensuring back orders are checked and any special instructions are followed
  • Provide support to outside sales team on customer service items and forward sales leads when they are out of office
  • Pick / ship goods to customers efficiently and accurately complete with paperwork where required
  • Check orders daily for any shipping errors
  • Maintain counter sales/pop area and racking in a clean and organized fashion
  • Call customers when back orders are available and accurately recording time and date on the invoice
  • Conduct regular “tool box” meetings in conjunction with Branch Manager
  • Train warehouse personnel and oversee their performance
  • Assist with quotes/pricing of jobs as required
  • Work with purchasing department to ensure products with low inventory have been purchased
  • Answer to salespeople when there is a complaint
  • Participate in yearly inventory count;
  • Attend various meetings and events, and part with organizations that will assist in your personal growth and enhance the image of ECCO Supply;
  • Participate in a minimum of 20 hours of vendor/industry training a year (lunch and learns, vendor training classes, online training, etc);
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years of Supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver’s License is a requirement
  • Lift Truck Safety Course Certified (Completion of Class 1, 4, 5) is a requirement
  • Previous working experience in the HVAC Industry or in Inventory Management is an asset
  • Previous or equivalent experience with facilitating sales training is an asset
  • WHMIS and First Aid Training Certificate is an asset
  • Completion of formal education and/or Management training/workshops is an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills; high energy, enthusiastic with proven people skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize is critical
  • Work with a high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity
  • Desire to be a long term employee and contribute to the company’s overall success

POSITION SUMMARY

Our new branch in Red Deer, AB is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join our team as Outside Sales Representative to the HVAC industry; must be self-motivated and possess a desire and aptitude to provide superior service and support to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expand and promote our residential and commercial product lines to existing and new accounts;
  • Establish new potential avenues of sales by promoting our product and equipment to builders, developers, and mechanical contractors in the HVAC industry;
  • With a concentrated effort on residential new construction and replacement markets, acquire, set up, and manage a dealer base for all our residential HVAC product lines;
  • Grow, investigate, and search out new projects via internet, advertisement, building permits, and various associations.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

POSITION SUMMARY
Our branch in Kelowna, BC has an immediate opening for Order Desk / Inside Salesperson. The Order Desk / Inside Salesperson will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. Working in a fast paced sales counter, this role will manage the customer service level, from order taking up to and including shipping of product. The Order Desk / Inside Salesperson will be the face representing ECCO to our in-branch customers, friendly and courteous, maintaining a strong level of customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Supply
  • Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Deal with customers at sales desk and over phone in a friendly, professional manner
  • Process telephone sales calls quickly and efficiently
  • Deal with inquiries from other ECCO branches in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
  • Maintain good customer relationships by addressing concerns/errors and following up orders.
  • Merchandising — maintaining stocked shelves and displays
  • Customer file maintenance (warranties, credit processing, etc.)
  • Coordinate with Warehouse personnel any associated logistics
  • Education; learning product lines/applications, including features, benefits, warranties and limitations, plus training and sales meetings, to ensure you have product and application knowledge to efficiently answer questions
  • Estimating of quotes for customers involving all HVAC products distributed by ECCO
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while increasing customer satisfaction
