ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our Sales & Distribution Division is looking for an enthusiastic leader able to join the senior management team’s efforts in maintaining and expanding relationships with large, multi-location customers by ensuring continued loyalty amongst existing wholesale distributors while developing National Account business for ECCO to maximum market share across Canada!

  • Monitor accounts receivable, credit transactions, and discrepancies in transactions, billing, inventory, quotations, etc.
  • Prepare sales and expense budgets for your territories, review individual staffing expense budgets, and ensure anomalies within the budget are examined and dealt with
  • Participate in inventory count, report slow-moving inventory, and create promotional campaigns accordingly
  • Oversee continued development and execution of accurate and reflective market pricing, product training programs and presentations, and marketing projects
  • Assess the marketplace and submit recommendations based on researched analysis of projected sales forecasts, feedback from customer surveys, and any other information to recommend prioritizing current projects and on introducing new or improved products
  • Planning and managing workforce across ECCO’s Supply Branches through recruitment, performance management, termination, and succession planning
  • Working co-operatively with all support teams including Credit, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Sales

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our Supply Division is looking for a zealous leader able to drive branch profitability by playing a direct part in the sales, marketing and promotions of all products distributed by Sales Branch Operations within BC.

  • Leading, scheduling and planning for regular operations meetings and sales meetings with your management and sales personnel to review current operating effectiveness and efficiency, market conditions, pricing, competitor activity, customer service issues, analysis of sales trends, and marketing initiatives
  • Assessing the marketplace and putting forward ideas to purchase or create new or improved products that could be distributed by ECCO Supply
  • Keeping the Vice President & General Manager informed of all pertinent information regarding performance of ECCO Supply Branches, problems and challenges, opportunities, changes in principles or industry, competitive pricing within BC, new trends or changes within the HVAC industry
  • Planning and managing workforce across ECCO’s Supply Branches through recruitment, performance management, termination, and succession planning
  • Working co-operatively with all support teams including Controller, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Sales

Outside Sales Representative – Burnaby, British Columbia

POSITION SUMMARY

Our busy branch in Burnaby, BC requires an Outside Sales Representative to promote ECCO’s manufactured and resale product lines to contractors. This role will be the face representing ECCO to our customers, friendly and courteous, while maintaining a strong level of customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expand and promote our residential and commercial product lines to existing and new accounts;
  • Establish new potential avenues of sales by promoting our product and equipment to builders, developers, and mechanical contractors in the HVAC industry;
  • With a concentrated effort on residential new construction and replacement markets, acquire, set up, and manage a dealer base for all our residential HVAC product lines;
  • Grow, investigate, and search out new projects via internet, advertisement, building permits, and various associations.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years in HVAC industry, demonstrating sales acumen with sales experience
  • Demonstrate applied knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
  • Must be willing to attend educational courses to supplement their existing professional experience for a period of time deemed suitable by management
  • Valid Driver’s License is a requirement
  • Excellent communication skills; high energy, enthusiastic with proven people skills and ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize is critical
  • Work with a high degree of emotional intelligence and business integrity

Counter Sales – Langley, British Columbia

POSITION SUMMARY

Our busy branch in Langley, BC requires a Counter Sales person who will process all sales inquiries and sales orders quickly and expediently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process all telephone sales calls as quickly as possible
  • Deal with customers at counter, in a professional and expedient manner
  • Co-ordinate all out of town shipments and special instructions orders with shipping department
  • Maintain an up to date sales catalogue with pricing, specifications, etc.
  • Maintain counter sales area including showroom and displays in a clean and organized fashion
  • Forward sales lead to Outside Sales Representatives
  • Telephone solicitation (when time permits) to develop new customers
  • Participate in yearly inventory count

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post – Secondary Education – an asset
  • Previous Sales experience, including fireplace/ AC sales experience – an asset
  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to multi-task data-entry and order processing efficiently
  • Ability to adapt/response to different types of personalities

Inside Salesperson – Langley, British Columbia

Our busy branch in Langley, BC requires an Inside Salesperson who will work co-operatively with the Branch Manager, Outside Sales Team, and Warehouse personnel to grow existing customers, generate new customers, and meet or exceed sales targets while increasing customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle telephone sales calls professionally, courteously, and as efficiently as possible
  • Educate customers on features and benefits of products in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction; as well as assist with quotes and pricing of jobs when needed
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, upselling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Assist in trade shows offered by ECCO Supply or suppliers
  • Forward sales leads to Outside Sales Representative for follow-up
  • Ensure all invoices and credits are processed promptly and accurately; as well as corroborate invoices daily to avoid any shipping errors
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales data base with pricing and specifications
  • Co-ordinate all shipping with Branch Manager, ensuring back-orders are checked and any special instructions are followed
  • Participate in yearly inventory count

QUALIFICATIONS
