Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team!

This position supports senior estimators by performing basic take‑offs, preparing estimates, maintaining project documentation, and providing responsive customer service. Estimator focuses on developing technical skills, learning ECCO processes, and supporting the commercial team in delivering accurate and timely project information.

 

Key Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Prepare estimates, tenders, and pricing packages using ECCO tools and templates.
  • Assemble quantities and pricing with guidance from Estimator I.
  • Maintain accurate pricing records, logs, and activity reports.
  • Support cross‑selling and upselling opportunities as directed.
  • Maintain project trackers and update project information accurately.
  • Enter quotations, contractor data, and project details in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on basic delivery inquiries and coordinate with warehouse staff.
  • Support warranty follow‑ups under direction from senior team members.
  • Act as a professional first point of contact for commercial customers.
  • Respond to basic inquiries and escalate complex issues to Estimator I or management.
  • Support inside sales activities, including follow‑ups and quote requests.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

 

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in HVAC, construction, estimating, or related field preferred.
  • Diploma or coursework in Mechanical, HVAC, Business, or related discipline is an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; ability to learn estimating and CRM software.
  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong integrity, customer focus, and desire to grow within ECCO.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
