POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Administrator plays a critical role in administrative oversight and direct support of inventory control within the warehouse. This role includes maintaining precise inventory records, ensuring timely stock movements, and facilitating effective communication within the warehouse and with external suppliers. This position is vital for the smooth operation of the warehouse and significantly contributes to the company’s operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversee administrative functions within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage documentation related to inventory, shipments, and stock levels, including entering records for shipping and receiving into the system.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating logistics and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain and file all relevant paperwork to ensure record accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the Distribution Manager in various administrative tasks and project management.

Inventory Coordination:

  • Assist with inventory control processes, maintaining and updating inventory records to ensure accuracy and readiness of stock levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any shipment issues.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate processing and tracking in collaboration with the distribution team.
  • Conduct and participate in the annual inventory count, providing detailed reports and insights.
  • Identify and implement best practices and improvements in inventory management to minimize losses and increase efficiency.

General Warehouse Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the distribution team to streamline operations and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing inventory status, discrepancies, and movements.
  • Communicate effectively with the Distribution Manager about any inventory or supply chain issues, propose solutions, and implement agreed changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience with ERP and WMS
  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse administration, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory and warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple tasks under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
