Sales Administrator

Corporate Operations - Langley, BC

The Sales Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, as well as providing personalized support to Customers, Sales teams, Distribution Centers, and Estimating Departments. Additionally, the Sales Administrator provides support to the executive leadership team and throughout all levels of the organization. This role requires the ability to think critically, anticipate needs and provide solutions with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This role will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Be co-operative, approachable and team oriented, build strong working relationships and a positive work environmen

Administrator:

  • Commit to consistently providing superior internal and external customer service by being professional, supportive, courteous and accommodating.
  • Promote and exercise open communication, keeping managers and co-workers well informed
  • Administrate and maintain all price files; as well as coordinate and communicate pricing adjustments
  • Manage and maintain ECCO Manufactured stock numbers
  • Evaluate new opportunities and follow set up procedures as needed
  • Set up and maintenance of all customer accounts and Manufacturer representatives
  • Draft and update customer and Representative programs
  • Calculate monthly Manufacturing commissions
  • Calculate and process volume rebates and claim back programs
  • Process all Canadian credit card transactions with a high level of accuracy
  • Support sales teams and executives with various reporting
  • Assist with sales budgets and forecasting
  • Organize meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Maintain current and accurate records of all budgets and related expenditures
  • Coordinate and replenish all marketing related materials such as flyers, E-blasts, catalogs, posters, advertising, tradeshows, events, and promotional giveaways
  • Ensure Wholesale Catalog is updated regularly
  • Qualify, process and track all co-op submittals
  • Assist with ongoing projects as required
  • Liaison between manufacturing representatives, customers, and internal departments
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

Qualifications:

  • A degree or college diploma would be considered an asset
  • 2 years’ recent, related Sales experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi task
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Highly effective in time management and project prioritization
