We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. This role will be an integral part and a contributing member of an organization that’s busting at the seams with growth.

The Graphic Designer will assist the Senior Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Manager with designing everything from print to web-related items and several things in between. General Duties:

  •  Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer experience and enhance ECCO’s brand in the market
  • Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedure
  • Read and comply with ECCO’s Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions by setting a good example, and
    by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
  • Develop marketing material and artwork such as catalogues, promotional flyers, brochures,
    media ads, social media posts, digital screens, email marketing and others
  • Work with Senior Graphic Designer on event design and print design
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy (I.e. Size, type size, style, etc.)
  • Consult and develop new designs and creative concepts, graphics, and layouts for internal team and client use
  • Coordinate projects with the Creative team, external agencies, art services, printers, and other vendor partners
  • Proofread all marketing materials thoroughly before submitting them for second proofing
  • Complete deadlines as per calendar milestones in the marketing activities plan
  • Stay current with design and marketing trends; update templates and style guides as needed
  • Possess an understanding of printing outputs and layouts, both in digital and printed format
  • Ensure visuals of all company websites are up to date
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

  • A degree or college diploma in a Graphic Design is required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Graphics and Marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (In particular In-Design & Illustrator)
  • Knowledgeable in working with colour for web and print; RGB and CMYK
  • Experience in Photography, Video Production and/or animation is an asset
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Suite; as well as HTML, CSS, WordPress, and Windows/PC
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Receptive to creative direction and adaptive to creative changes
  • Must provide a portfolio that demonstrates strong aesthetics and design principles in layout design
