ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This management role is essential to the successful and profitable operation of ECCO Supply’s commercial sales, requiring a leader who can drive growth by capitalizing on new opportunities while effectively navigating existing challenges. As part of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in building and sustaining a professional, well-organized, and dynamic environment. DUTIES:

  • Building strong and productive relationships with managers and supervisors; work with them to plan and deliver a structured approach for improving employee engagement, communication, and training;
  • Seeking out new business opportunities for recommendation to the Vice President & General Manager and executive management
  • Maintaining expert level knowledge, skills and industry knowledge required to fulfil the Employees duties and responsibilities including sales, marketing, and operations as they relate to the HVAC-R industry, through education including seminar, training courses and industry events
  • Work alongside the Branch Manager and Marketing department by promoting and advertising campaigns. Upholding to the corporate brand and professionalism at all times
  • Work with Marketing department to ensure proper messaging is communicated via presentation and promotion materials; collaborate on developing and deploying pitch ideas

 

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • A degree or college diploma in Administration, Accounting, Business, or Management
  • Business acumen (sound judgement, managerial perspective and basic business understanding)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally within the HVAC industry, with a focus on selling mechanical equipment
  • Strong, in-depth knowledge of mechanical products and applications is essential
  • Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated skills in delivering year to year financial results
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Commitment to employee training and development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
