ABOUT THE POSITION:

In this role, We are currently seeking a talented CNC Laser Operator to join our team in Saskatoon. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC Laser equipment and other designated machinery with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Your duties will include setting up equipment, loading materials, finishing parts, and managing inventory. We expect you to carry out all tasks in a timely, organized manner while upholding the highest standards of care, integrity, and professionalism. Additionally, you will utilize your skills in finishing, fabricating, sawing, cutting, bending, and operating various machines such as plasma tables, brakes, rollers, and punches.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Conduct CNC Laser operations efficiently.
  • Set up equipment and load materials as required.
  • Finish parts and prepare materials according to specifications.
  • Maintain neat and orderly inventory.
  • Independently adjust programs and collaborate with CAD programmers.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and execute tasks accordingly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and other related tasks.
  • Due to the dynamic nature of this Company the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in CNC code scanning and program adjustments
  • 3 years experience with CNC laser operation, or equivalent CNC machining experience
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator or Fabricator preferred
